Ideas for a prom hair style?

i want to do it myself but i dont want something like simple you know .... like pretty but not hard to doIdeas for a prom hair style?
In my condition I'd settle for a Rottweiler with a bag over it's head, however, I've always liked medium length, straight with a flip up at the ends. Kind of 50's but it works for me. Go blonde too..
