Yeah, sure it's pretty...but it's PROM! You need something loud, sexy...something that every other girl is not going to be wearing. trust me...you'll get a lot more looks if you don't go typical Taffeta/A-Line/Princess....yuck!What do you think of this dress for high school prom? I think it's a very pretty dress.


Don't listen to those trying to tell you to ';Go sexy'; you're too young for that crap.


I hate how the media is trying to sexualize everyone before they're even out of high school, sigh.


Not only that, but people make fun of girls who try to slut it up on prom dresses. Don't be the school slut.





I also think a cute little sweater/jacket type thing would go really awesome over the dress, one that ends just at the rib cage.


If you have long hair, wear it up with a cute band.

Some tips: Go for colour


Go for detailed dresses


Go for small suttle jewelery


Wear killer heels you can wear again


Make sure your make-up and hair look great (ask mates for help and advice)


Shave you underarms and legs!


AND HAVE FUN!

I'd suggest maybe pearls with it, light make-up...no panda eyes...and some light coloured shoes, maybe pearl/gold/silver that are glirrery depending on what jewellry you decide. I'd probably stick with silver in terms of jewellry.





If you have long hair, it would look really classy if you tied it up into a really neat high pony. If you've got short hair maybe have some sort of diamonte clips in. I have some clips that you twist into your hair and all you can see is the diamonte...they're really nice.





I wouldn't wear a tiara with this.





If I was wearing it, I'd go for silver so it was real classy. But it's personal preference, what ever makes you feel comfortable :]

It looks classically elegant. The matching bolero jacket could be nice in case it gets chilly or you could get a nice shawl. If you have long hair putting it up will go well with such an elegant dress.
I think it's nice! You should wear a necklace as a statement piece because of the neckline, and go easy on other jewellery like long earrings etc. You could buy a headband or corsage to pin in your hair too. Good Luck! X

It's okay...nice color....reminds me of a bridesmaid dress
Its nice, but if you want to go for an impact id pick a bolder colour
it may be a bit OTT, its more suited for a wedding.... how about a bold coloured dress????
