i think you shoudl do a cute little updo. Just tease the crown into a volumized poof, then you pull the back into a simple bun, or a twist like this:

or you can just go with nice, formal curls. Just curl your hair with a 3/4 inch curling iron, then tease the crown and clip it up into a poof if you want more volume, like this:
