Prom hair?

im thinking of having my hair in a quiff with french braids leading back into a mess curled pony tail for my prom what do u think my hair is medium lenght and i have a lilac dress oh an anyone got any make up sugestions cus they would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like a good idea for your hair. I just went thru prom back in May and what I had been suggested, for both years I went, was to try the hairdos before I had to get it done. That way, you would know if you would be able to do it and how it would look. If you do that, keep in mind that it most likely will turn out differently every time you do it but that way you do have an idea. As for make up, you do not have to go all out for it. Keeping it sweet and simple isn't so bad. Have a great time!

have you thought about just curling it, then putting a pump in the front??

as far as make-up goes, im thinking maybe a lavender-ish eyeshadow to match your dress, with a navyblue eyeliner if you have blue/green/hazel eyes, or black if you have brown eyes. or whatever eyeliner looks best on you.

It will last much longer than anything complicated and won't pull on your head and give you a headache. Trust me, girls get headaches all the time from doing their hair in a way they have never done before for prom. keep it simple.

Dont go too fancy, its a night to remember not to be worrying about your hair. How about loose curl's? Or have a hairdresser put it up. Have a look in wedding mags etc for make up and hair tips!

sounds good, erm maybe you could experiment withback combing the crown bit and curling some and putting some up and decorate with lil sparkly diamonds ( fake ones)
proms over. schools over. summers here please dont tell me your already thinking about how your going to wear your hair for prom NEXT YEAR??
