I don't know how I am having my hair for my prom yet, but I have clip-in hair extensions now for daily use and I find trying to tie my hair up with them in, hurts my head because the clips pull my hair. So I thought it'd probably be better to get glue-in or sewn-in ones? What would you recommend? Also, how much would either be? UK.Would you recommend glue-in sewn-in or clip-in hair extensions for my prom hair?
nooo glue will wreck your hair... and sewn is not much better... its so much better to use clipsWould you recommend glue-in sewn-in or clip-in hair extensions for my prom hair?
To be honest Ive had all 3. The sewn in ones got itchy and made my scalp flake. The glue in ones were ok, but got tangled really easily and if u weren't careful u ended up with a rats nest. The clip in ones have been the best experience for me. If you place them right when you do an updo they shouldn't hurt. :) Also both the sewn in and glue in are expensive. Im not too sure about UK price but in Canada i paid 300-400
Goodluck:)
Sew in extensions would be best. if you glue them it will pull your hair even more and damage it. Im not sure how much it costs to sew them in if you know someone who can french braid ask them to braid straight lines across the back of your head and then sew the extensions into it.
it would be best to get sewn ins if you want them to last longer and look more natural but if you just want them for a little while and don't care how they look go for the glue ones. This also depends on how you are going to do your hair.
i heard the clips are better, i had the glue kind, and it looked good, but few days later, they were falling out, they are messy when your taking them off and the glue takes a while to come off, you have to use baby oil..... i recommend clips ..
clip in cause they don't damage your hair as much. plus there cheaper. and if you don't like them you can take them out easier
